Ukity — Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Ukity account and data, what is deleted,
and what we may keep. It is available without signing in.
1. Delete in the app
- Open Ukity and go to Settings → Privacy.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Your session ends immediately and your deletion request is processed.
You can also delete only your face-check-in photos, without deleting your
account, using Settings → Privacy → Delete all face scan data.
2. Request deletion without the app
If you cannot use the app, email hello@ukity.com from the email address on
your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify that the
request comes from the account holder before acting.
3. What gets deleted
When you delete your account:
- Your face-check-in photos are permanently deleted — the image files and
their database records are removed.
- Your sign-in identifiers are removed or anonymized — your email address and
display name are replaced with anonymized values, your avatar is cleared, and
all sign-in sessions are revoked.
- Stored purchase tokens are removed.
4. What we may keep, and why
- Subscription / accounting records (plan, status and store transaction
identifier, without the purchase token) may be retained to meet legal,
accounting, refund and anti-fraud obligations.
- Security and audit logs may be retained for the security and integrity of
the Service.
- Limited data may persist in encrypted backups until they rotate out on a
schedule.
5. Important: current scope of deletion
We want to be transparent. In the current version, deleting your account does
not yet automatically erase every category of content associated with your
account (for example, your mood check-ins, reflection text, generated insights
and astrology profile may be retained in an anonymized account record). We are
improving the deletion process so these categories are fully erased or
irreversibly anonymized. **If you want these removed now, email
legal@zagru.com** and we will action your request.
6. Export before you delete
Deletion is permanent for the items listed above and cannot be undone. If you
want a copy of your data first, use Settings → Privacy → Export to download a
JSON copy of your profile, check-ins, reflections, insights, face-scan session
metadata and subscription records.
7. Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Manage or cancel
subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account. See the
Subscription Terms.
8. Timing and confirmation
In-app deletion takes effect immediately for the items in Section 3. Email
requests are actioned promptly after we verify your identity. Contact
