Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-04

Ukity exists to help you understand yourself — not to monetize who you are. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you always keep.

What we collect

Your account details (email, display name), the check-ins and reflections you choose to write, and optional signals you explicitly enable — like face check-ins, which always require separate consent. Technical basics (device type, language, crash logs) keep the app running.

How we use it

Your entries feed your personal identity portrait: metrics, patterns, weekly stories and shareable cards. AI-generated insights are reflections, never medical advice. We do not sell your data and we do not show your entries to other people.

What you share is yours

Shareable cards only leave the app when you export or share them yourself. Everything else stays in your account.

Security

Data travels encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is role-restricted and audited.

Your rights & deletion

You can change language, notifications and consents in the app at any time, and export everything we store about you as a file from Privacy settings. Deleting your account scrubs your personal data — including every face check-in image — from our systems. Content tied to inactive accounts is retained for at most 24 months before it is removed.
